Title: A Language For Systems Biology.
Abstract:
Systems biology investigates the interactions and relationships among the
components of biological systems to understand how they globally work. The
metaphor ''cells as computations'' opened the realm of biological modelling to
concurrent languages.
In this talk we present BlenX, a language based on the process calculi
paradigm and specifically designed to model signalling networks.
We will describe the features of the language, its supporting tools and show
some applications on real case studies.
