Leveraging recent advances in viewpoint-invariant image search, we use photos retrieved from the internet to perform inpainting — the process of replacing part of an image in a convincing, seamless fashion. By using images of the same scene, albeit from different viewpoints and under different lighting conditions, we are able to realistically inpaint images with the correct scene content.
