MERCREDI 12 MARS, 16H, SALLE W A geodesic framework for image and video editing Guillermo Sapiro Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering University of Minnesota Abstract: In this talk I will describe a framework for image and video editing based on computing distance functions and geodesics to user provided scribbles. The distance functions are computed in linear time based on new computational techniques we have developed. I will include examples in segmentation, matting, colorization, and other special effects. We will also demo in real time some of these examples. The work is based on joint collaborations with an international team of past/present students in my lab: A. Bartesaghi (Uruguay), X. Bai (China), A. Protiere (France), and L. Yatziv (Israel).
