TAIGA: The Abstract Interpretation of Genetic Algorithms

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellowship or
research assistantship to develop and implement an abstract interpreter
for the analysis of GA's for optimal control.  The project will use the
abstract interpreter to analyse the properties of several existing 
GA's.

Experience in the following would be advantageous: genetic algorithms,
functional programming (Haskell), abstract interpretation or optimal control.

Applicants for a research fellowship should have (or have essentially
completed) a PhD in Computing or a cognate discipline and must have a
proven computing ability. Applicants for a research assistanceship
should have a good Honours degree in Computing or a cognate discipline.

Salary scales

Research Fellow:    17450ukp - 19508ukp per annum
Research Assistant: 15467ukp - 17450ukp per annum
