Meeting on Optimization Problems in Computational Topology
École normale supérieure (Paris), November 21-25, 2005
This is a meeting of the project Optimization
Problems in Computational Topology, funded by CNRS, INRIA, and UIUC (University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign) for two years (2005-2006).
Presentation
The goal of this meeting is to foster collaborative research between the
participants of the project by bringing together researchers and students
for one week of informal workshop. The main suggested topic of interest
is Computational Topology, but this is completely open to Computational
Geometry in general.
The meeting includes a 1-hour talk by Jeff Erickson on
Computing Optimal Graphs on Surfaces.
